Harassment can lead to violence

Silence or doing nothing will not typically make harassment go away and sometimes such behaviour can lead to violence.

If you feel uncomfortable or threatened, speak to a person in authority about it (a supervisor, the owner of the store, etc.).  But please realize they may place their self interest before yours and they can always lie and change the facts later on. Before doing anything discuss your concerns with someone outside your work environment such as a Priest, Rabbi, and Muslim Cleric Etc.

Make sure when you meet with someone in authority at work you have brought a witness.

You can choose to contact us at Harassment Help to make a complaint and seek help from me.

Where harassing behaviour makes you feel like you’re in danger or leads to violence,  I strongly suggest to first call the Police if you feel that you're in danger. Contact me after you spoke to the POLICE and I'll give you all the support allowable by law
